About Calcuno Now
Calcuno Now is a free collection of everyday calculators, converters, date tools and text tools. The goal is simple: give a correct answer quickly, and show enough of the working that you can trust it.
What you will find here
The site currently has 26 tools in 6 groups: percentages & math, money & shopping, school & grades, unit converters, date & time, text tools. Each tool page starts with the tool itself, followed by the formula, a worked example, the assumptions the tool makes and answers to common questions.
How the tools are built
- Official definitions first. Conversion factors are the exact values defined in international agreements and national standards, not rounded approximations. The sources are listed on each page and on the methods and sources page.
- Tested against known answers. The calculation code is covered by automated tests, including awkward cases such as leap years, month ends, negative numbers, zero and very large values.
- Honest about conventions. Where there is more than one correct answer depending on country or institution (gallons, cups, weekends, leap-day birthdays, grading scales) the page says which rule the tool uses.
- Private by design. Calculations run in your browser. What you type into a tool is not sent to a server.
- Accessible and fast. Pages work with a keyboard and screen readers, load quickly on slow connections and remain readable without JavaScript.
Who runs the site
Calcuno Now is an independent website, not affiliated with any other company or brand. You can reach us through the contact page. We read every correction and suggestion.
How the site is funded
The tools are free to use and do not require an account. The site may show advertising in the future to cover its costs. If it does, ads will never change a result, and the privacy policy will explain what that means for your data before any ads appear.
Mistakes and suggestions
If a result looks wrong, please tell us with the inputs you used. Corrections are checked against the relevant source and fixed as a priority, and the "last reviewed" date on the page is updated.
