What you type into the tools
All calculations, conversions and text processing run in your web browser. Numbers, dates and text you enter into a tool are not transmitted to us or stored by us. Closing or reloading the page clears them.
Information collected when you visit
Like any website, our pages are delivered by a hosting and content-delivery provider. To deliver pages and protect the service against abuse, the provider's servers process technical information such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. This information is used for security, troubleshooting and aggregate traffic statistics, is kept for a limited period according to the provider's retention settings, and is not used to identify or profile you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Cookies
Calcuno Now does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The site does not store anything in your browser's local storage.
If we introduce advertising or analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent first.
When you use the contact form
If you send us a message, we receive the email address you give, your name if you give one, the topic, the page address if you give one, and your message. We use this only to reply and to handle your request, such as fixing a reported error. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f)). We keep correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose and then delete it, normally within two years.
The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-processing service that receives the submission and forwards it to our inbox by email. Web3Forms processes the submission, together with technical data such as your IP address, on our behalf; see its own privacy policy for details. Nothing is sent until you press “Send message”.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. Service providers who process data for us (hosting, the contact form service) may process it outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers rely on safeguards recognized under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
If the GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise a right, send a request through the contact form. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the authority where you live or, in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Because the tools do not send your inputs to us, we hold very little data about visitors and usually cannot link server logs to a specific person.
Children
The tools are suitable for students and do not ask for personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change, for example if we introduce advertising, and change the date below.
